Without the use of microbeads, we’re proud that it is 100% biodegradable and also ocean-safe. Like all our products, Cosmos Scrub is versatile and multi-tasker (use it on your face and body), made only of plant materials, and never tested on animals. What Makes It Work
French Rose petals (Rose Gallica)
Natural oils in the petals lock moisture into skin, while the petals are well-known for their delicate, soothing scent. These roses have antibacterial properties to fight acne, while promoting a healthy glow. Exfoliation with petals boost collagen production and skin’s firmness.
Argan seed powder
Finely milled argan seed powder, with moisturising exfoliating properties. Argan seeds are a natural exfoliant that also rejuvenate and nourish skin because of its vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidant properties.
Luffa
Natural refined Luffa fibres improve blood circulation and remove dead skin cells, dirt and pollution on skin surface. Anti-inflammatory, and anti-irritant.
Cellulose
A natural exfoliant that is a strong humectant which increases moisture content in skin. This wood pulp cellulose is biodegradable, renewable and sustainable.
How To Use It
For use as a regular exfoliant, mix ½ teaspoon of Cosmos Scrub with a pump of your favourite skin or body cleanser to transform it into a creamy exfoliating cleanser. Apply in circular motions to skin and rinse off. Follow with other DrGL® skincare. Use once or twice a week to reveal gorgeous, clear skin.
Tips
- As an Exfoliating Cleanser – Mix with a DrGL® cleanser such as DrGL® Cleanser Sensitive to form a creamy, gentle exfoliating base you can use once or twice a week for the softest, smoothest skin. Use it on your lips too!
- As a Scrub Mask – Mix the grains with DrGL® Restore Gel Mask and apply to face and lips. Leave on for 15 minutes. With clean, wet fingers, massage gently in circular motions to soften the mask, and rinse off for brighter, more radiant skin.
- As an All-Over Scrub – Add your favourite shower gel to the grains and apply in circular motions to your body. Rinse off and follow with moisturiser or body lotion.
- As a Hydrating Scrub (very sensitive/dry skin/cold, dry climates) – After cleansing, mix a small amount of the grains into your DrGL® moisturiser of choice, and apply in circular motions to your skin. Rinse off and follow with other DrGL® skincare steps.

Thought it was interesting that you could add these finely milled cellulose, luffa, ground argan seeds and French rose petals to your favourite cleanser and turn it into a gentle exfoliator. I use this more for my body instead of my face and I love how it removes dirt and grime so effectively. Perfect for sweaty post-fitness showers!
You don’t need a lot of product at one go so a little goes a long way. It’s travel-friendly as well!
